30 Day Yoga Challenge!
My master yogi, Swami Sivananda says, “Convert every work into Yoga with the magic wand of right attitude.”
I invite you to take a magic wand and vision how you would like 2019 to be for you.
In King James Version of the Bible, Proverbs 29:18 states, “Where there is no vision, the people perish..”
I assure you that if you take this 30 day yoga challenge, you will feel transformed and ready to accomplish your dreams! How can I be so sure? Well, yoga has personally transformed my life but don’t just take my word for it. Check out the science behind yoga below.
THIS IS YOUR BRAIN ON YOGA:
In addition, according to a study published in the Journal of Neurosciences, brain scans of the parietal lobe demonstrated that mindfulness meditation can dramatically reduce sensitivity to pain, even more so than morphine. Most classes at Blissful Yoga include a meditation!
After class I check in with students and hear them saying how wonderful they feel and wish they could just stay in the studio for the rest of their day! In order to keep that “yoga-high”, our yoga practice has to be regular, consistent and over a long period of time.

Yoga challenge rules:
2 start dates to choose from:
Begin on Friday, January 4 and ends on Saturday February 2
Begin on Saturday, January 5 and end of Sunday, February 3
25 out of 30 days has to be in the studio at Blissful Yoga
If you do an at-home practice it has to be for a minimum of 30 minutes
Classes, Workshops, Free Saturday Mantra Chanting all count
You can double up on classes if you miss a day or to prepare for a day that you won’t be in the studio.

HOW TO SURVIVE A 30 DAY YOGA CHALLENGE:
Set a clear intention for yourself envisioning how you will feel once this is completed.
Keep your month as un-busy as possible. Let you family and friends know that this is very important to you and you won’t be able to socialise as much.
Plan out your week ahead of time and treat your yoga class as if it’s a very special event.
Make sure your yoga clothes are clean and you have a water bottle filled
Drink plenty of fluids during this month and try coconut water too for the natural electrolytes.
