for a special yin yoga practice designed to maximize the healing of emotional and physical issues stored in the tissues and muscles of the body. Combining Taoist yoga, thousands of years of acupuncture practice, and western research Yin Yoga provides an accessible pathway to deepen flexibility, and quiet the mind. Yin Yoga focuses on the tougher connective tissues of the body such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia allowing for stagnation, and blockages to be released. In this workshop we will follow the Yin practice to further release stored emotions using essential oils and acupressure. Known for its ability to alleviate physical pain, the healing art of acupressure relieves stress, along with emotional pain.
