In India, the birth place of yoga, the practice of yoga at sunrise has a history of 3000 years! This sunrise vinyasa class is designed to connect your body and mind with the power and energy of the sun, along with the infusion of the ancient practices of India. By practicing in the early dawn, we will find a deep connection with our practice and with the new day at hand (practiced outside weather permitted).
Yoga Sutra 1.1 – “Atha Yoganushasanam” Now the practice of yoga begins.
“Now begins the scientific discipline of yoga.” In just a few simple words, Patanjali, the father of yoga, is subtly telling you that it’s about being present. Atha Yoganushasanam. Without your full commitment, you won’t succeed.
